Background
A steel manufacturing unit was looking to automate its bulk material handling and facilitate movements in all directions for Main Hoist (MH), Auxiliary Hoist (AH), Cross Travel (CT) and Long Travel (LT)
Implementation
- Deployed SINAMIC S120 VFDs for MH, AH, CT and LT to ensure speed control and smooth operation on load
- It was commissioned by using SINAMIC STARTER
Outcome
- Easy pick and place bulk material with required speed and position
- Reliable operation and maintenance
- Torque and speed accuracy on load
